As a South Florida wedding photographer, I love when a wedding editorial dares to be bold and transportive. This Moroccan-inspired wedding photoshoot at the historic Curtiss Mansion in Miami was designed and styled by Pink Wasabi, and it brought together vibrant colors, rich textures, and unforgettable details that whisked us straight to Marrakech.

The lavish reception table was a centerpiece of the design, layered with lush fruits, blue patterned plates, and colorful floral arrangements by Flower Fanatic. Every detail felt intentional with luxury balanced with artistry that created a tablescape that was visually stunning.

To add to the immersive experience, a hookah lounge station was styled with colorful seating, patterned pillows, and rich textiles. Guests could envision relaxing in an intimate, bohemian setting that brought warmth and authenticity to the celebration.

The ceremony design was equally breathtaking, framed with drapery and Moroccan-inspired tapestries, creating a space that was both romantic and dramatic. Fountains throughout the venue were filled with flowers, turning each corner of the mansion into a visual story of opulence.

The bride’s styling was nothing short of iconic. She wore a unique off-the-shoulder Moroccan-inspired gown adorned with tassels, paired with bold yellow velvet shoes which was a striking nod to modern fashion within a cultural narrative. Her bridal look was so distinctive and editorial-worthy that it was featured in Pop Sugar Bridal Guide.

From the hanging textiles to the vibrant colors, every element of this shoot celebrated creativity, culture, and romance. The result was a wedding inspiration that felt fresh, lavish, and unforgettable—perfect for couples who want to blend bold design with timeless storytelling.

This editorial at Curtiss Mansion reminds us that weddings can be more than celebrations—they can be immersive experiences that reflect personality, heritage, and artistry.
